Improve calibration time for ASTM D5453 D5762 D4629 with NEXIS

Night view of an oil and gas refinery.

Today, laboratories around the globe are looking for improved productivity and how to use a sulfur/nitrogen analyzer setup with maximum efficiency, productivity and reduced cost of operation without the need for re-analysis, re-calibration or exchange of sample introduction modules. The analysis and accurate quantification of simultaneous analysis of Total Sulfur and Nitrogen in a wide range of liquid hydrocarbons using only one sample introduction module and one extended calibration line is a challenging requirement for many laboratories today. This leads to reduced sample productivity and increased lab prep time.

This application note shows the performance of the NEXIS model Total Sulfur/ Nitrogen analyzer equipped with a cooled boat sample introduction module and use of the AS120 liquids autosampler to meet a first order linear calibration curve of 0 – 1000 ppm (mg/kg).

Our Impact

EST Analytical has been helping labs achieve their analytical goals for over 30 years. Our vision is to engineer reliable laboratory instruments that enable partners to make the world a better place.

To help labs excel we offer Application Notes across our entire product line. They are a resource that explains the technology, performance, and abilities of our products as used against certain methodologies and or applications.

Whether your needs center around a USEPA method, an ASTM Standard, or a sample matrix-based outcome EST has you covered. If you don’t see the technical direction you need, simply contact us. We also offer sample analysis in our onsite Applications Lab.
