Ethanol in Hand Sanitizer Using SPME
During cold and flu season, ethanol in hand sanitizer is very important. If no soap and water are available many people use hand sanitizer to wash their hands. The Centers of Disease Control recommends that there be at least 60% alcohol (ethanol) in order for the sanitizer to be effective in killing germs. This application will examine the percent ethanol in hand sanitizer using Solid Phase Micro Extraction.
